Project summary

Supported confidential luxury hospitality and hotel projects in Southeast Asia through FF&E research and selection, specification updates, material sourcing and board preparation, project documentation and supplier coordination.

A 140-hour Interior Design Practicum, from March to May 2026, in a fast-paced international hospitality-design environment.

FF&E, materials and supplier workflow

The internship gave me practical exposure to the professional workflow connecting design intent with actual products, materials, specifications, samples and suppliers.

• Research and selection. Developed furniture options for live hospitality spaces, balancing concept, aesthetic suitability, brand availability and project requirements.
• Specification and documentation. Updated itemization and furniture specification information including brand, product code, supplier and product details.
• Materials and samples. Sourced and verified physical material and fabric samples, compared office and client sample sets, and updated the corresponding project information.
• Material boards. Prepared labels, tags and material-board sets for stakeholder copies including client, office and supplier use.
• Supplier liaison. Coordinated product information, options and quotation-related details with local and international suppliers, including communication routed to a regional furniture representative in Singapore.
